Mission Coach Dylan’s mission is to develop each player individually with both skill and hockey IQ while reinforcing positive team building. He emphasizes hard work, discipline and responsibility. His goal is to provide knowledge to players and allow them to reach full potential before advancing to the next level. Coaching is about guiding the player to accomplish goals, acting as a mentor and building relationships while keeping the game fun.
Background After playing hockey for 12 years, Coach Dylan moved into coaching at 18 years old. Teaching the game has always been a passion of his dating back to when he was still a player. He has spent time coaching at many levels including Tier 3 Junior A, Bantam club hockey, high school hockey and individual skill lessons. He loves to see the development of each individual player as the process is always different and no one player is the same. He never takes for granted a moment on the ice and enjoys every second he has being a part of this game.
Vision for West Ranch Hockey This is Coach Dylan's 4th season as a member of the West Ranch Hockey family, ranging from JV assistant coach, to now head coach of our Varsity program. He values the organization and believes in the growth of our family tremendously. "It has been quite the ride since I've joined the organization and what we've built in the past several years is nothing short of amazing. The kids that have come through our program have become young adults right before our eyes and everyone has put in blood, sweat, and tears to get where we are now."
Dylan brings his 12 years of coaching experience and USA hockey level 4 certification to the Varsity program with the intention of creating an environment built around teamwork, dedication, and grit. He also makes it a priority to develop relationships between the players on Varsity and JV to continue to strengthen the club as a whole.
On a Personal Note Coach Dylan, his wife Danielle, and his 1 year old son Carter are local to Santa Clarita and active in the community. They have organized fundraisers to benefit those in need including a golf tournament to support a close friend's battle with cancer. They care about the development of our youth and continue to support the community in any way they can.

This is Coach Jack's first season as a goalie coach. He has been playing hockey for 12 years, 9 of those years playing between the pipes. Coach Jack started his hockey career at Ice Station Valencia in the in-house hockey league and then moved up to playing travel hockey for the Valencia Flyers for three years. He then moved up to high school hockey as a sophomore at West Ranch and was a member of the inaugural West Ranch team.
Coach Jack was a standout for the start up West Ranch Hockey team in the LA Kings High School Hockey League. He was featured as the LA Kings Player of the Week several times and helped lead the Wildcats to the playoffs each of the three years he was on the squad. He also played on the Wildcats Prep team during his time with West Ranch Hockey, facing off against the Anaheim Ducks High School Hockey League Varsity Division 1 teams.
After graduating from West Ranch High School in 2018, Coach Jack made the California State University, Northridge (CSUN) Hockey team as a freshman and is entering his third year playing for the CSUN Matadors, who last season became the first team in West Coast Hockey Conference history to not only win four championships, but to win them all in a row. In addition to Coach Jack's hockey playing career, he has experience teaching youth how to play various sports, including football, baseball and basketball.
Coach Jack understands how important the goalie position is and that the goalies need to be the best skaters on the ice and in tip top form. Coach Jack is excited to be giving back to his alma mater by sharing his net minding experience and expertise with our varsity and JV goaltenders in his role as the Wildcats Goalie Coach.
